Mr. Gevorg Mantashyan, the First Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, was in New Delhi on a working visit to participate in the "AI Impact Summit 2026" high-level International Summit held on 16-20 February.
The First Deputy Minister participated in a number of bilateral and high-level working meetings by discussing the opportunities for developing AI, digital transformation, innovative technologies and expanding investment cooperation. In particular, Mr. Gevorg Mantashyan had a meeting with Mr. Ashwini Vaishnaw, Union Minister of Electronics and Information Technology of the Republic of India, Mr. Karsten Wildberger, Federal Minister for Digital Transformation and Government Modernisation of the Federal Republic of Germany, and Mr. Zhaslan Madiyev, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of Kazakhstan.
Within the framework of the AI Impact Summit 2026 Mr. Gevorg Mantashyan met with Mr. Jitin Prasada, Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology of India. During the meeting, the parties discussed a number of substantive issues related to bilateral cooperation, particularly trends in the development of artificial intelligence, tools for promoting digital innovation, opportunities for cooperation in the field of microelectronics, and prospects for expanding interaction between startup ecosystems.
At the end of the high-level international summit "AI Impact Summit 2026", a joint declaration ("Summit Declaration") was adopted, in which participating countries and international organizations reaffirmed their commitment to expanding cooperation in the field of AI and set a common vision aimed at the responsible, safe and trusted use of artificial intelligence.
